Susan Boyle had her moment, let Sung Bong Choi now have his. This moved me to tears while eating my lunch, chewing and tearing up. In my office. So be prepared, get a tissue, and root for this guy. This is certainly a must see.

A few random observations that I hope don’t take away from this incredible video.

1. I love talent shows, and it’s no wonder that my DVR is always recording something of this nature. American Idol, America’s Got Talent, ABDC, Last Comic Standing… I watch them and love them. Maybe it’s for undiscovered talent, but maybe it’s for these moments.

2. Who is the judge on the right? Is she half-white? Obviously, she’s a native English speaker (the accent gives it away), but her Korean is so good. I need to be that good at Korean.

3. I love that he sang opera. I know virtually nothing about opera, but there’s an emotion there that doesn’t come out in other types of music with quite the same effect. Italian certainly is one of the “love languages”.

We are led to believe that Beauty and Perfection are synonymous. The truth is that some of the most beautiful things in life make no sense at all and need not to be figured out. Not critiqued or judged, but rather appreciated for its entity. Life is beautiful, and it doesn’t always make sense but we still coexist in this mysterious world of uncertainty.

Let’s lift each other up, instead of trying to suppress one another to try to climb to the top first. Because I promise you, no matter how beautiful the view at the top might be, it’s that much more beautiful sharing it with someone else.
